The Competition Appeal Tribunal has scheduled a hearing for 2–3 November 2026 to consider a £1.5 billion collective legal claim alleging that Rightmove overcharged thousands of UK estate agents. The case, led by former CMA panel member Jeremy Newman, argues that Rightmove abused its dominant position in the online property portal market by imposing excessive and unfair listing fees.
